Bank Holiday Weekend

May is a great month, not least because it has two bank holidays in it here in the UK – the first being today. And what a great bank holiday it has been, the weather has been beautiful here!

Whenever I get any spare time away from work I like to spend it doing creative things like drawing, sewing or baking, so this extra day has been very welcome. This weekend I did all three, as well as catching up on college work for my design class. You can see some sneaky glimpses of what I’ve been working on below, including reworking some vintage clothes.

On Saturday I headed over to Liverpool to see the Glam! exhibition at the Tate (amazing, it’s only on until 12th May so go see it) and also took in the Art of Pop Video exhibition at FACT (amazing and free! on until 26th May) as well as a fair few vintage shops. I’m going to write a proper post about all the great places I found very soon.

What have you been up to this weekend?

Iā€™m (attempting) Blogging Every Day in May ā€“ you can read all my posts here.
