Romiley Artisan Market Makes Its Debut

I can’t believe it’s been a week since the first ever Romiley Artisan Market! Fiona, along with a team of fellow volunteers from Project Cherrywell, has helped to set up this event to promote some great local talent and encourage more people to shop in the town, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it all turned out. Even the weather was pretty kind to us (even if my clothes rail did get blown over in the wind once).

Here are a few pictures of our stall I managed to snap throughout the day. It was the first time I’ve ever sold some of my reworked vintage clothing*, which was pretty nerve-wracking, but we got some great feedback and (we think) the stall looked fab!

What a brilliant day. It was lovely to meet some new people and see a few old faces… one we hadn’t seen for well over a decade (Hi Matt). Plus, there were so many great stallholders selling everything from clothes to cheesecakes and natural skincare products to DIY pizza!

If you’d like to take part in the next event on 7th September, email romileyartisanmarket@outlook.com.
